OK for all those looking at buying the KFX Headers and to KFX. These are the modifications required to make the headers work and not cause any Check Engine Lights.

1. Connection for the end of the KFX pipe to CAT needs to have the holes grinded more narrow, about 2-3mm each side.

2. You will need to purchase a set of bolts for the connection of the KFX pipes.

3. OK here's the biggest one. You will need to weld in the second O2 sensor adapter, but not just one but two of these. You will need to weld a second adapter on top of the first adapter. Since the header removes one of the CATs you need to fool the second sensor into believing it is still there. So by pulling the O2 sensor out of the direct path, you give it a false reading that would be the same if the CAT was still there.

Hope this helps everyone else and also helps KFX fix the small issues with the header.

any chance of pictures to go with this?

Does it matter where the second O2 sensor adapter goes? Do they need to be in a certain spot?

yeah like common where is the photos. how the heck do you fool the sensor by pulling it out of the path of the exhaust, dont it still get the same amount... and why the he!! did kfx not do this to begin with? then they could have tested it and made sure it was the optimal placment

second O2 sensor goes in the same place as the original, that way there is no changes to the wiring. No picture because if your changing your header you should have a little mechanical knowledge and figure this out on your own when you get under niether your car to take off the old header.

i must disagree with you, if you create a new thread is not only for people who have done this mod, but also for people who wants to do this mod since this problem havent been fix from KFX.
we all know that every DIY needs pics.

We intentially left our the second O2 bung as it is useless. We install our resonator after the second cat that has a built in o2 bung, that way, you get a before and after cat reading on your O2 sensors, just as the factory wanted it to happen.

I will enclose some pictures of my car tomorrow so that you can see what I mean.

My car is a sephia, but the idea is the same and it works!!

Bill
