I saw where Putco advestises in-channel chrome side window vents
(get this) for 01-08 Elantra's.

I sent them an email asking them to verify if these will fit my o8 because as we all know the Elantra underwent a complete body restyle in 07. The 07 and the 08 are the same but doubted if 01-08 where the same.
I got no answer.

So, a month later, like a dummy I placed my order. I just opened the box. There's no way these are going to fit. I never took them out of the box because I can see from here.

The top of the 07/08 rear window is curved. These Putco pieces are perfectly straight along the top and too long. These are for the old body style windows.

They know full well that these are not going to fit any 07/08 and are content to make money off of us with their shipping fee's and a 15% restocking fee and doing it by deliberate misrepresentation. Be careful who you deal with and if you have questions make sure you get an acceptable answer in writting.
