My 2008 Entourage with power sliding doors has been an excellent purchase. The only problem I have is that the driver side power sliding door will not open after I fill up with gas. The vehicle is in park and I have read the manual. There must be some trick to reset the lock out while filling up for gas. Randomly, I am able to get it working, but can never figure out what I did differently. I try opening it, but it stops after 2", and I need to hip check it to close again. Any suggestions?

:00000732: to the forums!

Just a guess here, but any chance that the gas door is not closing all of the way. I believe the Entourage has a feature that if the door is open, the sliding door will open a tiny bit and then close.

What color and model did you get?

there is a safety feature that defeats the auto-open sliding door when the gas door is open. Maybe it enables the door after the engine is started? Never checked.

When you open the gas door it disables the power to the power door. Maybe the cutoff switch is broken?

Thanks for your help, I am going to take it to the dealer. The switch must be broken, because it worked intermittenly when I first purchased the van, but now, it is a complete failure and the door it permanently unable to open for the last few months. It opens just an inch, and then I must hip check it in place to latch it again.

Other than this problem, I absolutely love the van. It has so many standard 'options' that make driving a wonderful family experience. I especially love the seat heaters since I live in Canada.
