HAVE A 07 SONATA WHEN YOU PRESS THE REAR DEFROST BUTTON THE RADIO GETS STATIC ANY SOLUTIONS??? WHATS WRONG???

This has been reported here in the past. It's only affecting your AM reception, right? Do a search, there is some kind of a linkage between the antenna wires and the defrost lines in your rear window.

Our 06 does the same thing AM & FM but it's intermittent. They replaced the antenna amplier but that didn't solve the problem. Another poster reported that he had to have his rear window replaced and that solved his problem. We still live with it.

My 2006 Sonata did the same thing while on FM stations.
