I just got my accent gt and have noticed that when on the interstate or other higher speed roads my car will waddle back and forth. This happens not only around semi's but going around curves in the road or when hitting 65-70 mph. I placed a bag of quikcrete in the trunk for extra weight but there wasn't much difference. When the car is loaded with myself and 1-2 other people (about 400 lbs.) there is not much sway. I know a sway bar would only add to the problem but are there any fixes?

Check the tires for roll. I had 1 set of tire that had really soft sidewalls an when turning at higher speeds it would rock back and fourth. You may want to check that. From outside push against the side of the car and see how much the tires flex side to side. Also worn out/soft suspension bushings can add to this as well

Do you know of somewhere i could find these online? I also am still curious if that is what is causing the problem as increased weight makes pretty much all swaying disappear. Thanks

I had the same problem on an old volkswagen. Ended up that the rear wheel bearings were worn out. I couldn't feel any damage when they were out, but new ones solved the problem.

You have a light car and the wider GT wheels. Your car is following road grooves. Mine has done it since it was new. When you have more weight in the car it will limit the effects.
