Hi,

I've bought new Getz in 2003 (with a/c), and I've just discovered that I've been driving the car with no cabin filter for 4 years. I've opened the box and it's all messy inside and no filter! What the h***??? Somebody should get kicked in between for not putting the filter where it should be! For all those owners that have 2001+ models: if u haven't checked yet-do it now. I'll try to adopt a hose so I can get inside and clean all that dirt with vacuum cleaner.

cheers

it's very common for vehicles sold in some countries not to be fitted with a filter, no-one knows why, but of course, you can clean the box out and fit one

Hi,

Just cleaned the inside of the 'black box' with a 25 cm long hose (for watering the garden) attached with sticky tape to vacuum cleaner hose. I also cleaned with tyre-check pistol (mine has 20 cm hose). In the end I've used air conditioner cleaner spray for moth removal. Filter has fitted perfectly - it comes in 2 parts, each has dimensions around 10cmX20cmX1cm. Haven't noticed any difference in air flow before and now with filter.

Yep, it true that some cars are not fitted (intentional?) with cabin filter - sounds like a bad joke on me and some of you who really like Hyundai. So go and check because air quality in the car is really important.

cheers!
