Hello all,

Just did some cleaning of the throttle body and I wanted to clean the egr but; I am not sure of where it is!

Also, I would like to take my (Intake? on the front) manifold off to clean some of the grime. If I was to take the housing below the manifold off, would I need a new gasket?

Does the manifold need a gasket, or can I just pull that off and put back on without a problem?

Its pretty grimy in there and I want/need to clean it out. Anyone feel free to message

Montego,

I looked under the hood and to my dismay, I found that my engine may be slightly different. It is a 3.0ltr and I am in Australia. My engine could be different to region.

If need be, I can take a photo of my engine and upload it. See if it is familiar to you at all.

Cheers.

I found the egr valve hehe, I will put a pick up soon.

I also would like to know what the metal rail that runs behind the engine and connects to the throttle body is. It was caked with HARD BLACK GRIT. which i cleaned the best I could. What is this rail for?

Cheers!
