QUOTE(LePapirrikY @ Oct 22 2008, 01:05 AM) i havent check my cables yet, but i start thinking that those harness are not made for our cars, the wiring on our cars is diff so it needs to be modify the harness. I have a lot of those diodes if you need some let me know.
Cool Lep...Thanks I guess Ill hack the wire on the harness first... If that doesnt solve it...then Ill go after the diode.

AligningThis was prob with the flash off? The one to the Left is with Stock Lens and Stock Shield The right is clear lens and Shield Mod True Effect Driver and Passenger Clear Lens with Shield Mod Now I just thought this was cool... Since I was experimenting with the lenses...I notice that you can modify the out put and color line by varying the distance between the bulb and the lens... I had some space between the lens and the mount (since I was swapping lens out and didnt fully press them in) of about a couple mm. All the way in gives a crisp cut off...but with a few mm off...there is a color effect...but the output is a lil distorted. Ill post a video up of me playing with the lens. OFFON

QUOTE(rondy_ @ Oct 24 2008, 02:27 AM) that is so cooool looll nice cut-off Now I want to do the color mod to my projectors
Yeah you get more color at the cut-off if you put the lense further away from the bulb(or the cut-off plate I think). Thats why it cant be done to the FX35, at least not safely.
You can remove the second shield from the FX35 and you get more color at the cut-off.
Just one question for you blazianenigma, did you cut the second shield from the projector??????
Hey Rondy, I cut the second shield. thats for the reminder...Ill post the pic... Projector Housing Shield Disassembly You can see the 2 shields here. Take some scissors and cut the front shield off. Prob wondering about the LEDs. Well...when the lights off Ill just illuninate the projector. Just somethin to do...lol

QUOTE(LePapirrikY @ Oct 24 2008, 02:14 AM) that its true, if you get few mm between the lens and bulb you will get the blueish effect, which i believe its awesome!! on my projectors (TL) i also can get a space between the lens and projectors which it will help with a sharp cut.
Agreed! Now I just wanna figure out...sharp cut or blueish effect.... Hmmmm... Maybe sharp cut. since the lights are purple already.
