I'm really at a loss. I've got a brand new battery that needs to be installed, but I can't seem to get that bell shaped thingy (I'm horrible with terms) off of my positive battery terminal. I've poured Coke on it (diet and regular), banged on it with a hammer, tried prying it - nothing. Ideas? Assistance?

Never mind. I saturated it with a battery cleaner by Lynx and it worked beautifully - after about 2 hours of sheer will power prying and knocking it about with a hammer :)
