The AC cools well to about 55 degrees. After 15 mins its starts to blow hot air. The AC will suddenly begin to work again (30 to 60 mins later or when the car is restarted).

This can be caused by several things. Things I would look for are, working cooling fan, low refrigerant, clogged cabin air filter, causing the condensor to freeze. Then I would take it to an ac shop.

Cooling fan works, AC relay switch is good, and I had the refrigerant refilled. I will try the cabin air filter. Thanks.
