mmm....custom coilovers. I'd love a set. it's a shame that there is not a car out there with the same suspension setup asthe S-Coupe.

TPA, go for the GTS....i'll hopefully be getting a set like those too.

GTS uses modded KYB dampers and KAW springs.

KAW uses modded Koni external adjustable dampers and KAW springs.

So my mind is kinda set on KAW.

Custom coilover just too expensive for me:)

So in order of greatness we should all go for the KAW.

1. KAW
2. GTS
3 Weitech

I'm so glad there is actually a kit for the S-Coupe worth getting.

Do you think this is the best kit we could get? I think so, especially with Koni Adjustable dampers.

IF you agree then we should make a sticky post for good mods and post it up there.

Fitted my new rims, so next step is to lower it.
Ordered the KAW performancekit, KAW springs and adj. Konidampers.
Will let you know the result and experience.

Nice one TPA...I havent been on the forum for a while...been low on funds MOST of the time.

Hopefully will get the new suspension soon as my rear suspension is knackerd. It came up in my MOT as an ADVISORY. So I seriously need a new and good set.

If I can afford it...KAW or GTS...if not I'll get some KYBs and some good springs.

Hey welcome back:)

Ordered a while ago but for some reason they at some difficulties with supplies.
Presumably they can send it around this or next week. Need to wait some more.

Only problem is that they are beginning to build speedbumps around my neighbourhood
which may cause trouble if im lowered (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) (I hope not)

Got mine too now. Dampers are Koni reds.
(IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v216/T_P_A/Scoupe%2094/verlagingset2.jpg)

The original struts need to be shortened a bit too.

Paid 605 EUR for it.

Dont know what you mean with generic fit etc. ?

Read from the manual that a small piece must be cut from the original strut.
The old coil gets replaced with the new. Thought it was something like that.

Got my car back lowering kit fitted ( and exhaust).
First impression is good, defenitly better than that Weitec kit I had before:)
Think I try to adjust it to my liking tomorrow.

that's nice, how much the lowering was overall in mm? Looke quite good. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) More pics would be nice from back line and front so we can see how the wheels fit up with the fenders. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Rating was 40mm front and 30mm back. Gonna be some audio in the trunk(empty now) later, so mayb the back drops slightly more.
Hope these pics are any good.

That's nice, how good ride is it? is it too firm or is it nice but still sporty? Nice pics!

You should definetly install spacers for back to get rear wheel inline with rear fender (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Its quite firm, but for me there is nothing like too firm:) I like driving around like in a Kart.

Spacers in at the back will come in the future for sure:)
