Can you get the supersport springs? suplex, apexi, sparco, cobra, h&r..

otherwise do custom coil overs and get the ride height what ever you want.

That what im doing i have got a set of Scoupe LS back springs ive got them Re temperd stiffened and raised by 20mm, these are "straight line only" springs now..

with the 40mm shortend shocks the back is gone be INCREDIABLE STIFF/Drag racer STIFF, that should stop the weight transfer..,.

It's the law of physichs that you never cannot to stop the weight transfer, but you can help it to raise the back and get more weight to front axle to get more grip.

I've seen a couple of posts about suspension saying that Weitec is not very good.

Are you aware that Wietec are owned by KW and are made from KW parts.
Last itme I checked KW were pretty **** good.

I've been reading a load of reviews and the set that fits the S-Coupe, Ultra GT Kit, and the are highly rated as a good tuning and styling option for all road users.

I personally would trust the opinion of a loads of Volkswagen owners about this kit.

Anyway, to sum Up, I will be buying the kit from Germany.

Yes KW is good, but just for owning Weitec doesnt make weitec good. I recently read an other topic on a different forum about one type of lowering kit from a different brand. All VW were praising them and all others were dissatisfied with them

I have the actual kit your gonna buy under my car and I say dont buy it. Front reasonable stiff (but Iwant stiffer) the back is just poor. It really bottoms out at most speedbumps when even driven slowly, also on the highway at some bumps.

Its your car and money so just buy it if you want to:) If you wait 2-3 month u can buy mine if you want:)

This is partially humor but if Volkwagen owners are saying something, then don't take it too seriously. ;)

It depends on what is the width of rim, back you could put 8" wide rim but I am quite sure that it will not go to front as it's filled with 7" rim already and with 7.5" rim it's getting outside of fender. Too bad it's not rear wheel drive lol.

if the fender is the only problem, you could roll it up/outwards so it wil fit.

OK, OK.

Apologies if I sounded rude TPA.
You're right, VW owners are more "Show-than-Go" these days and seeing as you already have the kit, I'm inclined to agree with you opinion, you have them, I don't, so you know more than I do.

So, I apologise. I'd rather have your knowledge than one of another car.

I've seen another German make called KAW, they are more expensive but I've never heard of them. They are german and I found them on EBAY.

Any ideas?

Oh, 17"s should fit fine, just dont go above 7.5 wide. and 215/40/17 SHOULD squeeze under. I'd say go for 205/40/17 to keep the wheels as close as poss to the Speedo reading.
I found this site quite handy:

AJ7:

I suggest you to Try/Find GTS Suspensions (made in Germany) set which lowers the car 60mm in front and 30mm back. They should be reasonable price and shocks are modified KYB:s and springs are sourced from KAW in that setup.

They have 40/30 set too if that 60/30 feels too hardcore for you.

Coolio.

I just want to find a full kit, you know. The springs are built for the struts.
Looks like eyelids advice has paid off. I've found the GTS website, now just using Google Languages to translate it.

Keep in mind that if you are going to do some turbo upgrade, add some big **** intercooler and new pipes and let's say 2.5" exhaust, you're adding a lot of weight to front axle.

First my Eibach springs bottomed out completely in front and after modifying bump stops the car stands 1-2cm lower in front than back right now, that's why I keep recommending fully adjustable custom coil overs if you can have them even if you first don't have any idea how they should be adjusted, just keep testing and learning..
