I got a weitec 35mm set (shocks&dampers) But its not really to my liking. The back is still kinda bouncy. Ill try some other shocks/springs for the back later.

I only know Weitec or Autostyle for a complete set.
Springs: Intrax, Apex
Shocks: KYB, Monroe, Adelco

I use Koni Red ajustable shocks with stock springs, I also tryed it with Eibach springs this ist a good combination...Also you could use Bilstein B6 shocks but I think the Koni shocks are better becuse you could ajust them how you need it
The Weitec springs are the worst spring they are very soft and the windings beat each other...

this is all aviable in Germany!

KYBs has basic struts for front and gas-a-just- shocks for the rear which they say is way better than stock ones. Of course you can have basic struts for the rear too if money is tight. Sure you want your rear suspension to work good too even in drag spec.

They're better than oem overall. I'd recommend to go for (price/performance-ratio) it unless you want some custom coil-overs.

Hi all.

I've decided on 2 options.

1. Low budget - 1 set of KYB struts with good quality springs (eibach, apex etc.) Around £250 - 350 GBP

2. High Budget - 1 set of Koni struts with matching or good quality springs. Around £300 - 500 GBP

Good luck to all of you finding your suspension.

Drives: Modified (180 b.h.p.) `95 Hyundai S-Coupe Turbo SE ....Sadly now sold & replaced with an `04 Alfa Romeo 156 2-litre Veloce! :-http://aol.photobox.co.uk/album/thumbnails.html?c_album=7089276&page=all

The Scoupe Turbo model came (as stock) with extremely good shocks & springs which were a serious upgrade to the standard (n.a.) car.

After much research, I fitted Apex lowering springs & imported a set of Pedders shocks from Australia.
However, the shocks were only about as good as the originals were when they were new........the car was always `rock-solid` anyway!.

Nick. :)

yes the rear wont fit..but the accent springs are not the right for the scoupe because the accent has not so much weight as the scoupe so the springs are maybe to soft...
