So yesterday i was driving along, when suddenly i had to brake really hard ... Someone in front of me decided he wanted to turn ... So with lot of sliding and tire smoke i came to a halt, not hitting anything. So i drove off, but from that moment my brakes were just simply gone ...

It's like when you start the engine, the first few seconds you can't push in the brake pedal, well it's like that the entire time now ...

Any ideas ?? All help is appreciated !!!

are the brakes still working? but you just have to press the pedel very hard to make them work?...if that's so you have a problem with the brake servo or the vacuum pipe running to it

i checked the vacuum lines, one was busted, so i got a new one and replaced it, still no vacuum ...

So you think it's the brake servo ?? where can i find that ?

Check the whole system for vacuum leaks, and the break servo might be broken as montego says..
Strange anyway..they should hold for a hard brake....
Find a new servo or can´t you find it in the car?
A new servo can you buy from a dealer or from a car junkyard..(spelling? =) ) Just pick up you´re phone and start dialing ;)

Good Luck!
