Hi, today i changed the HU outa my 98 excel , when taking out the old one, i had to take the wiring loom off, and cut a black cable which connected directly to the hu it was apart from the wiring loom.

now i connected everything to the new pioneer, now everything works except i cant get a radio signal on the new hu

also the heater doesnt work

The black wire is always antenna input, haha whoops! Good luck with it anyway
