Drives: 2007 Hyundai Sonata Limited Platinum Edition
I have been looking to replace the speakers in the Sonata. i will be keeping the factory head unit. I know it has the Infinity set up with components up front and most likely 2 ways in the back doors. I did my search on crutchfield and came up with these replacements.


For the front

Now with this being said. Is there a factory crossover for the front stock components? Also for that horibble rattle from the crap 8" in the rear deck what would rid that?

The factory "crossover" is a capacitor; it's wired in-line to the factory tweeter. Just don't use the factory wires that run to the tweeter and it won't interfere with your Infinity crossover.

I think replacing the factory "subwoofer" with a real subwoofer will get rid of the rattle. :grin: I think Dogstar and others successfully derattled their Sonatas.

Has anyone ever taken the speakers of of the platinum ed sonata with the Infinity stereo... are the actually Infintity speakers?
