Last week my radio/cd player became unwell, would only play on left side channel on CD but fine on all radio stations. Called in to 'friendly dealer' who organised a replacement head unit pronto (+10 for effort) Drove out of dealership, down the road, mmmm, wonderful stereo again. Three hours later, 1 dead radio !! REAL dead. Will be back on their doorstep on Monday mightily **** off. In fairness to hyundai UK it's not a Hyundai part, for some odd reason they see fit to delete the standard unit that EVERYONE in the world seems to get and fit a VDO system which looks exactly what it is, an aftermarket unit.
P.S. while in dealership, asked aboout price of imminent 3 yr service , £350 inc parts and taxes That's $637 in real money !!! it does rile me that its got to me done to qualify for the warranty despite the fact that the cars only done 14500 miles in 3 years but thats life i suppose.
Anyways, apart from that, no problemos !!
