Long story short. My brother threw his phone at the temp display and cracked the LCD. I can't find a part online anywhere. Does anyone have a part number available. Or I guess I can wait till the service dept opens on Tuesday. Hopefully it's not too expensive.

Ouch. :o

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but I'm betting you that you'll have to replace the entire climate control unit and I can almost guarantee you it won't be cheap (i.e. over $500) and not under warranty.

Best of luck to you.

I agree... unfortunately. You might check with your insurance company re: filing a comprehensive claim, depending what that might do to your rates. Good luck.

There are two possible units that would fit your vehicle. One control unit is $1488.79, and the other is $771.84.

I'd call the insurance company.

Based on what this is going to cost you and assuming your brother is still alive..........You must love him very much.

Haha. I forgot to mention that it wasn't my car he did it to. It was my mom's. She also has an 08 Santa Fe.

He just enlisted in the Army Guard with a $20,000 enlistment bonus, so I'm sure he'll be able to afford the parts.

Thanks for the help guys!
