OK so I bought my 08 Accent SE hatch. Love the car so far but for some reason whenever I leave it parked in the sun with the sunroof visor left opened and I pull it back later I find this sticky goo on the material side of the visor. Almost like the adhesive/foam backing of the headliner gets stuck to the sun roof visor. It is very disturbing especially considering that I have to clean it very carefully each time I see it there. It is not easy to get off.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Probably should take it in, it'll be covered under warranty.

Sorry, but they are not going to swap cars because of something that can easily be fixed. It does not take any longer to order a headliner or sunroof shade than it does any other part.

Take it in to the dealer, it's covered under warranty.

man, i have the same issue.. as usual the dealer was pretty useless when it came to solving it.
it's like this black, gummy silicone.. in a 'V' shape on my roof..
So i went in and they 'replaced' the 'sliders' 'AND' the glass..
none of which have solved my problem.. pretty crappy, can't deny it.. but after those 'fixes' it hasnt been AS bad, but it's still defiantly a problem.. saw another 3dr w/ Sunroof in a mall parking lot - same issue.
may be a car to car type thing, maybe it's a ticking time bomb for others.. not sure, but let me know the outcome!
