well as far i know KFX refund his money, because the manufacture didnt want to make it. There was some problems that they were running into and at the end there was no go for the turbo.

Money was refunded due to the manufacture taking way too long. KFX I believe might be looking for a better manufacture, who knows. As for the programming issues. Yes this was also a big concern. Due to the fact that it would only be a piggy back system, I did not want to chance driving out to work and having ti go out on me. I would need to pretty much keep a laptop in my car all the time. So until an actual program comes otu I would not do this install. Besides after my latest cruise this weekend I've figured out that our cars with

Cat back exhaust
SRI or performacne Intakes
Coolant bypass
PVC bypass

Have to potential to create enough HP to put some life into these motors. Case in point I raced a late 1990 Grand am GT's Hyundai 2.0L tiburons. Colbalt SS supercharged. Subaru Impreza 2.5L nonturbo cars and keep up, sometime beating them. Even when I have been beaten the other drivers always make the remark that the car is fast for it's motor. So keep up the mods and I'll keep looking into a more sustanable turbo setup.

I spoke briefly with a member named 'alexab79' in the performance area...

Check out this thread.

I sent a PM asking for some more details on the home-brew setup from their 06, so if they get back to me with more info... maybe this will provide answers for people looking breath a bit more life into their engine.

130 at least, I'm hoping for closer to 150. I'm heading down to Edmonton tonight for a new windshield. Hopefully I'll have time to get it on a dyno.

Same engine but they use a MAF sensor we use a MAP, SO unless you know how to program a cvvt motor for MAP, good luck, same issue I had.

It really wouldnt be that hard to convert over to a MAF setup if you could find a rio in the junkyard or something:) Or even get a MAF and Computer new there is site that has the ECU print out for the Rio.. here it is:)

actually its for a kia spectra but its the same motor if i am not mistaken ( i could be though) everything is the same on the accent as far as i could tell accept ours as the MAP instead on the MAF.

MAF sucks for tuning anyway. Standalone...
