I took my accent a SCCA autocross solo 2 event today. At the moment the car is completely bone stock tires and all and i must say the car actually handles very well. There was so understeer and the brakes locked up a little to easy but i think with a nice set of slicks it wol dbe a very compatitive car is HS. Just thought i would share my experiance with you guys:)

Definitely would love to see video! And I'm glad to hear that someone is out there flogging their car... I hope to take mine out at some point and have some fun.

I have a feeling that with those Eibach or H&R springs and a nice wide set of wheels with decent tires, this car would handle like a go-kart.

THe next time there is a even wich i belive is in a month or i will take my cam corder and record some in car shots and post on here:) I belive that with the right springs and tires this car would handle great. It really isnt to bad out of the box... but definalty needs a little bit stiffer springs, lower the center of gravity and some wider stickier tires.

a nice front strut bar would do wonders for it too! hehe
i have the wider sticky tires and they made a huge improvement over the stock rubber

lol, this car really needs a stabilizer bar, yesterday i was racing a 96 sentra and i lost because the back of my car was sliding too much, so if you guys wanna race with your accents go with other tires and try putting sway bars and stabilizer bars.

I have a quarter mile long gravel drive way with 3 TIGHT S turns if I really push it I can do 43 mph kicking the back end out and drifting it around. Right at the end it gets a little wobbly but not bad. I'll try to get some video soon of the car ect. :)
