QUOTE(boostedfc3s @ Sep 9 2008, 11:41 AM) I'm going to have them look at it when I bring it back for the dash pad. I want to say it almost sounds like bearing or warped rotors. You can hear it at cruise, at all speeds above 25 pretty much. You can hear it at highway speed above the road noise if you listen closely. Its also slightly louder under breaking from higher speeds. Like you say, letting it roll along in neutral doesn't change the sound either. I have 24k on it, the rotors should not be warped already if that's the case, and the bearings should definitely not be worn out. I drove my last car 130k miles until it needed new wheel bearings. I have this going on too... my left front. Louder when I turn to the right. At this point I don't even care. Hopeing for the brake lockup David had....except I'll keep driving till I see flames.

QUOTE(Brazzel @ Sep 9 2008, 12:43 PM) And yet another. :trophy:
Me Too!! But not for the same reasons, my car mechanically has no problems. This was my 1st hyundai and it will be my last. Hyundai doesn't know how to cater to clients at this level and this is why the genesis will also fail in sales. Too bad as they could have had a great product. Now they are comparing the genesis to Benzes as if anyone contemplating to buy MB will even consider Hyundai. Poor souls, back to the abc of marketing.

Hmmmm, this club is growing fast. QUOTE(snaglepus @ Aug 25 2008, 07:37 PM) I am extremely disappointed with the Hyundai Corporation. I will and cannot recommend anything made by Hyundai any longer. Welcome to my club.

Hey you guys!!!
I should be president of the club. (Note my Avatar)
After getting everything repaired and replaced including 640 shocks, new brakes rotors and pads, new master cylinder, front and rear alignment, etc., etc., I still had no confidence in the Azera any longer. Neither did my wife. Usually it's me who is ready to sell or trade. In this case, it was Susan who encouraged me since when she is driving alone, it was the Azera she used.
It would have been better had the locking brakes started a fire and let my GAP insurance do its job but I was still able to move up one model year (different brand) and lose one payment year for a total cash outlay of $900. At least I am no longer up side down.
I must stress, however, that my Santa Fe is still living up to its good reputation. (knock on wood) plus a little prayer once in a while. :amen:

I wish I could get out of my lease. I might try leaseswap or leasetrader. We'll see. I found my Lexus. 05 LS430 with laser cruise and precollision, fridge, heated/cooled massaging seats in back, heated/cooled up front, air suspension, 6 speed auto, for 28k.

QUOTE(campoly @ Sep 9 2008, 03:57 PM) Count me in the club to although it isn't a club I would have liked to be in. I'd like to be in the "I love my Hyundai" club. But that'll never happen. :crying:
All those Azera owners who have had no problem must think we're a bunch of whiners. :bwekk:
Hey D-P-1, if you are the president then Brazzel surely must be the vice president. Snaglepus could be the general.
Actually...as one that hasn't had any real issues with my Azera, I'm learning that you guys really aren't whining. I'm saddened to see this happening really. However, there are still plenty that do love their Azera's still. Good luck with whatever you end up in afterwards.

Sa weet ! I'm a big fan of the mighty Yota.....why I ever drifted ? Beats me ! I want a loaded Tacoma with the sports package. It's only me. I don't need this big ole lumbering battleship. I may try to off the Azera & Chevy this December......Whew ! I don't know though, I've already been gang raped by Hyundai so many times I don't know if I can take it again. HURTS !! :w00t:

However, there are still plenty that do love their Azera's still. Thanks for the sympathy. It saddens me too. There is still a lot that I like about my car but I've lost confidence in its reliability and the Hyundai dealer experience has been horrific. I had high hopes for Hyundai (root for the underdog thing) but alas my Azera and the crappy dealer experience has dashed those hopes. I sincerely hope that you and all the other trouble free Azera owners continue to be trouble free with your Azeras. :57: QUOTE Good luck with whatever you end up in afterwards. It's gonna be "like it or lump it" for at least 4 more years unless I can figure out a way to not get upside down with it. I have 3 other trouble free cars, so I guess I should count my blessing really. :P
