Anyone hear about a road race from Las Vegas to the east coast?? Yesterday along I-80 Between Omaha,NE and Lincoln,NE the Police stopped a car going 127MPH. The driver said he was on a road rally and was trying to get to the east coast fast. The car was inpounded and the driver jailed. In the Videos I was looking for a white Sonata (V33) But did not see any. Anyone else seen or heard this???

it should be the intake as I believe they are better for high end power. :460: Try for 155 mph this time and make a vid

It's called "The Gumball Rally." It was the subject of a movie many years ago. It started in (I think) New York and ended in Long Beach, CA at the Queen Mary.

Gumball Rally would be correct. Why they would be headed the other direction I have no clue. Usually they leave from downtown manhattan from an underground garage at a hotel. At least that's what I have seen the last few yrs. u can look up gumball 3000 on youtube and see some of the rides. Most of them are just ridiculously rich old guys that have too much time on their hands and WAY too much money for outrageous cars, but there are a few young guys that go a little overboard. This Korean guy I knew from college thought his turbo'ed TL would be fun for the race; got pulled in texas at 147. needless to say, 3 days later, after a court date, no car, and a huge fine, he realized that it really wasn't meant for ppl that don't make close to a million a yr.

The cars and quick video clips of them on open highways is really fun to watch though!
