Ditto with the Genesis out, it doesn't leave much room for the Azera I wouldn't think. Anyone have any numbers on how well the Azera has sold since it's debut?

According to the Hyundai rep. who stops by at my work every other week the Azera isn't going anywhere for atleast 2 years. He said sales are up, don't know how true that is.

Azera is here to stay because without that they dont have a full-size competitor to the Avalon and Maxima. The difference from a Sonata to Genesis is really big so they need something to slot in between

I always thought of the sonata as a direct competitor to the maxima. I chose it over the maxima. Drove both, liked sonata better because of its better rear-ward visibility(taller rear window). In the maxima, it felt like i couldn't see enough of what was going on behind me.

The Sonata is usually compared to the Altima. The Azera usually compares to the Max, Avalon, etc... I know what you mean, the back window in the Maxima is horrible and with the headrests it even harder to see.
