Wanted to drop in my first post. Just bought a 08 Santa Fe GL Manual Tranny. Still waiting for it to arrive at the dealership in Toronto. :)

Welcome! :00000732:

Which dealer in Toronto? I picked up mine in Whitby. I'm a member of the APA and they had a pre-negotiated no haggle price with a Toronto dealer, but mine matched it after a 1/2 hour of humming and hawing.

Westend Hyundai on Lakeshore (Marinos auto group) - I had a Subaru Impreza that was a lease return with a little owing - just a little :P

The Santa Fe being financed. I think I got a pretty good deal at 0% and a little discount on the MSRP.

:00000732: and congrats on your purchase. The Santa Fe is easily the best value in its class. I'm sure you'll love it.

The manaul transmission just comes as a GL trim level but I got the Dark Red with Beige cloth. Classy colour with a manual tranny - interesting duality I think :)

As for accessories I'll trolling around for ideas. :P

The only options I put on mine were the chrome side rails (hopefully door ding protection) and a bug deflector.

1800 kms and very happy with the ride! :D

Anytime I have ever pulled into a parking lot and parked beside a vehicles with those rails, I'm always careful opening my door fearing I'll hit my car on them.. not sure if it will help, but what the ****... I think they look sharp when they're clean :D
