I was on ebay and saw a turbo manifold it says for 2000-2008 accent with the 1.6l engine. I emailed the guy and asked him if he was sure it would fit a 2008 accent and he said it would... what do you guys think?

The bolt pattern should be the same. As long as it is for the 1.6 motor i think youll be fine. And when can you ever trust ebay :P

maybe you bought your accent for gas mileage but i bought mine to find a new tuning platform that people wernt using yet. i think the accent ha a very capable engine besides the intake manifold and throttle body. the stock ecu and stock tune suck too. overall i think it has alot of potential though and i plan on proving it:)

The manifold setup for the 06 and up Accent is NOT the same for the 05 and older... there is less clearance between the engine and radiator fans in the newer cars, and manifolds that fit the older cars will be too big.

So no, this will not fit. Be wary of anything aftermarket that states it fits the older as well as newer Accents, because 99% of the time it will not.

The only thing i really care about is if it bolts to the engine. So all the 1.6 litre 2000-2008 have the same exhast ports?

I just checked and the 2000 - 2008 use the same exhaust manifold gasket so apparently the ports ARE the same for all those years.

Only issue might be the clearance between the motor and the rad on the MC vs the LC2. I know this is an issue with a header for the LC2.
