I started another topic on the Shark Fin because the other is getting very long.

Ok, it came in and I installed it. Here is my short review.

It was easy to install and looks very nice. It's main flaw (other then a little
pricey) is the gasket used. It should have a rubber gasket, but they use a
foam gasket. It does make the trim around the base a bit cheap looking.
Only very close up but still for the money it really should have a rubber
gasket. I still recommend it.

yup... I was actually thinking of taking is off and using a better adhesive to see if that takes care of the issue. Maybe use a thinner material.

To add to my review. The antenna does have slightly less range then the stock set up.
Stations that used to come in around the edges don't now.

If they would use a rubber gasket it could have a lip that hugs the rim all around like most factory fins have. It would look more stock that way, and hold up better too.

that looks good, but as you said before i think its too much for that look. I believe you gonna have a hard time trying to match that gray color, unfortunately gray its not easy to match.

Without a rubber gasket you'd think it'd leak. Also if it is less powerful than stock then they didn't go a good job making it.

The foam gasket is water tight, just not as clean looking.
As far as I know most shark fins are a little less effective then
a regular antennas.
