Hi guys, great forum you have here. I was just wondering if anyone can tell me where i would fine the engine number on a Hyundai Excel manufactured in jun 1997?? It's a car from australia and i can't find what the engine number is. I really hope someone knows this as i need it for registration purposes.

This really belongs in the Accent Forum, as your car is only called Excel in Australia!........& this forum is for the older Mitsu.-engined car which ceased production in `94.

The engine number will be stamped on the block & should be visible if it`s clean.

Your local Hyundai dealership should be able to tell you exactly where to look if you really can`t find it..
