I know you don't have to use air for your tires. What do I use that nascar uses and where do I get it?

Tire Discounters inflates with nitrogen, runs cooler and stays in tire longer, guessing because nitrogen molecules are larger than oxygen molecules...

The dealership can replace it for you for 50.00 but another tire shop should be able to do it cheaper

Please PLEASE don't waste your money on such foolish things lol, donate it to charity if you must :)

Air is already 75-78% nitrogen :)

My wife bought her tires at Tire Discounters too back when she lived in SW Ohio, and they used nitrogen. Can't really say I can tell a difference except I've never had to put air in the tires. I don't think they charged extra for it. Nice place to buy tires, but too bad we'll have to drive 90 miles to Florence to use the road hazard warranty, there isn't a Tire Discounters here. :crying:

The shop I bought my tires from for the Accent charged extra for it so I declined.

If you can get it for free, it's worth trying.

When I bought my car from the dealership, they threw in free nitrogen for the car for life, regardless of how often I replace my tires or what tires I put on :D
