Yah yah most of us know it's a mustang killer, but here's the stats. If you got more stats on other cars please post them and I'll update the chart.

Genesis Coupe
3.8L V6 310HP 263lbs
Wieght: 3550

Ford Mustang
4.0L V6 210HP 240lbs (V8 is 300HP)
Wieght: 3336

Dodge Challenger
3.5L V6 250HP 250lbs
Wieght: 3623

Chevy Camaro
3.5L V6 306HP ?lbs
Wieght: 3700?

Infinity G37
3.7L V6 330HP 270lbs
Wieght: 3616

BMW 335i Coupe
3.0L V6 230HP 200lbs
Wieght: 3417

Toyota Camry Coupe
3.3L V6 210HP 220lbs
Wieght: 3185 "4cly"

So it looks like we're pretty much on par with the compatition. Lets hope the aftermarket guys do thier work and make it a true Tuner car.

I would say its primary competitors to be the Ford Mustang and the Infiniti G37. It can surely take out the Mustang but in a comparison test it would be close between the G37. The G37 has 20 more horsepower but the Gen coupe weighs 100 lbs less. hmm

Yah I would say it would be a close battle. In the end the gen coupe would win because of price. Best bang for the buck. Until the new nissan z car comes out. that might be tougher competition

The BMW 335 makes 300hp the 330 makes 230 or so. Not sure how well the coupe would fare against the Mustang GT or the 335.

I can get a few more comparisions, but I'm trying to keep it to V6 coupes for now.

And per Motor Trend quoting Hyundai, 80% of Genesis' will be 3.8 V6's.
