After broken ABS rings I have a new problem with this Trajet: The Camshaft and all valve plungers are f*cked up.
This car is from 2003 and have 160.000 km witch is still young for me!. I never have this kind of problems with other car brands. I'm thinking seriously to stop driving Hyundai cars.

Somebody had same problems?

No, the timing belt didn't snap. It all starts weeks a go with an innocent ( that's what the dealer told me) 'tick' sound from the engine.
Now the totall damage will be more then 1000 euro's...I have to buy a new camshaft and 8 plungers. I'm thinking of buying used parts.

I have Hyundai Elantra 2.0 CRDi year 2002 (europe model). When i bought it, it was driven 200tkm and there was that annoying ticking sound..i have tried differend kinds of oils but that sound is still same than 37tkm earlier..now(237tkm).. So do you think that it's better to change all hydraulic valve lifters (x16pcs+work=1300€) now...before it's too late..? :3gears:
