The check engine light is always on. I changed so many parts including the gas cap, sparking plugs, air filter etc. I disconnected the battery too but the light goes on again. Any advices?

Yea he`s right get the fault code, and google it, it will lead you to the anwers, mine was a leaky exhaust, fixed it for $6.00. I got a code scanner on ebay that worked well for $130.00. But there are cheaper one`s. It saves me alot of aggravation and wasted trips to the garage :amen:

Get the OBDII this will check cars from 1996. Get one that can read & erase the code.

Read the instruction carefully. Like ignition must be off before connecting.

Also, sometimes it's pretty difficult to connect-up. Try to hold onto the back of the connector while pushing in your mating connector. This is a "D" connector -- make sure it's positioned the correct way or you won't mate-up.
