ive noticed that when the car is at normal running temp, that if the lights are on it idles at about700/800 rpms. but as soon as i turn off the lights it drops to450/500 rpms. has any one else had this problem?

it's adjusting the RPMs based on the load on the accessories. Lights on=alt needs to produce more juice=RPM's go up. same thing with the A/C

but shouldnt the idle be at around 650/800 rpm for a fuel injected motor?
