I have a single cd sonata gls 08. I am looking for a new headunit that has ipod integration.

I am confused on what headunit to get. I am looking for suggestions.
I saw someone who got that but it does not see to fit in my car

I would also like the steering wheel controls workable.

It seems like I would need a large headunit.

Eclipse CD3200, get it at sonic electronix. That is the place with the best prices on the web. Also they provide installation kit for free. Also you may chek The pioneers premier & kenwood excelon exept model kac-x592.

So I can use the small headunits? How does that look? The space looks pretty big if I take the factory radio out. The eclipse has all the features I am looking for. Can I use my steering wheel controls with it?

Yes , the installation kit will take care of the extra space, you may have a choice to select metra or scoshe . Go into their web pages to see which one you prefer. About the steering wheel controls, that is going to depend on the head unit of your choice . There is a manufacturer by the name of PAC that makes all kinds of interfaces for that matter.

I went to bestbuy and circuit city to check out their headunits. At best buy for the streering wheel controls, it is $100 for the parts and $100 for the labor just to include the controls!

So I put together the headunit from what I liked at sonic, which is a great website.

The pioneer has the best look for my car.

On the PAC website it says this will work in my car, but I want to confirm it with someone here.

Also, to keep xm sat radio conected to the aftermarket radio, will I Just be able to plug it in, or will I have to buy another kit? I won't buy the kit, but if I can just plug in a wire then its cool.

That Pioneer premier is also a good choice. In accordance with their specs it works with all Ipods, usbs, mp3s ,ect. An 8gb memory ( trascend $43 at compusa) stick is an excellent option to use with that receiver, also it is not too expensive in comparison with an Ipod, you just need to arrange the folders the way the manufacturrer requires & bingo you have your music in the car.
