Hi,

I have a 95 Hyundai Accent. It's a two door hatchback, automatic transmission. Sorry, I don't really know anything about cars so I'm not sure what the engine is? The problem I'm having is that the car is leaking oil. I went onto the hyundai web tech site to look and they say it could be the pcv system that needs to be replaced (hoses and valves). I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem with their accent and also, what would be a reasonable price to get this fixed (keep in mind that this would be in Vancouver, BC, Canada). I'm trying to prevent from getting scammed!

Thanks!

when you stand in front of the radiator, were is the oil leak ?? If the engine is so dirty that one can't determin it, then have the engine cleaned first.
In some cases, we had oil leaks at the head gasket between the block & head, which was fixed by just retorquing the head.

Well the engine is pretty clean. I noticed the leak because you can see a trail of oil when the car is parked and sits, nothing though when you're just driving around and parking for a couple hours. If it just needs retorquing is that an expensive fix?
