hey all, trying to work on a friends car...her rear hatch is sticking a bit, the lock mechanism it seems actually...

curious if this is a common thing that you guys are aware of or if I need to just go at it and see what I can come up with...

ideas? Thanks in advance!

FWIW, WD-40 (with straw) in the crevices of the exterior handle/lever did the trick...works perfectly now.

yea my latch handle gets stuck relatively often and its annoying cause i like to show my sound system off. I havent tried the wd40 idea yet but its worth a shot, cause having an inaccessible trunk is a pain...
