It depends upon your condition of Vehicle. If you car is in well maintained condition and you constantly make periodic service checkup then it can extend upto 2-3 years

Dear bfm,

Hyundai, like most auto manufacturers, installs the smallest and cheapest battery that will start the car. The warranty is 36 months. My 2001 Sonata had a battery fail at...you guessed it...37 months.
