Hey, im new to this forum and new to hyundai's. I bought a 2000 accent it has the 1.5 SOHC motor and its a 5 speed, when i bought it it had a hard time starting so i traced that back to the MAF sensor, and it solved it. But latley it has a really bad stutter when you hit the gas it almost stalls out, and when you take off from lights you have to rev it up first before you try to accelerate because otherwise it just starts sputtering and wants to stall. I have got a check engine light for a slow reacting O2 sensor so i replaced both of them and it idles smooth now but it still has the same problem on take off or when you hit the throttle. So im lost at what to do now so any advise will help

Check the intake hose, make sure that its not cracked and that it's tight. Also, check your vacuum hoses and PCV hoses. If all the hoses are connected and not cracked you could replace your spark plugs and check that the spark plug wires are getting power.

If everything seems in order I would check the Throttle Position Sensor because that can cause poor acceleration.

USING VOLTMETER
Check item: Throttle position sensor output voltage (TP Sensor side connector No.1 or ECM harness side connector No.16)

Check condition Test specification
At idle rpm 0.25 ~ 0.8V
Wide open throttle 4.0 ~ 4.8V

SENSOR INSPECTION

1. Disconnect the throttle position sensor connector.
2. Measure the resistance between terminals 2 (sensor ground) and terminal 3 (sensor power).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
0.7 ~ 3.0 kΩ
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. Connect an analog ohmmeter between terminals 2 (sensor ground) and terminal 1 (sensor output).
4. Operate the throttle valve slowly from the idle position to the full open position, and check that the resistance changes smoothly in proportion with the throttle valve opening angle.
5. If the resistance is out of specification, or fails to change smoothly, replace the throttle position sensor.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tightening torque
Throttle position sensor :
1.5 ~ 2.5 Nm (15 ~ 25 kg·cm, 1.1 ~ 1.8 lb·ft)

Ok, checked all that was listed above and all came out fine, Today I got a misfire code for cylinders 1 & 3?? Could one of the o2 sensors i got be bad? I have also replaced the MAF sensor when i first got the car.
