Hi,

Please tell us more. Do you have issues with rmp meter? Anyway...@60 mph(96 km/h) rpms should be around 3000 i think. I have 5 spd MT. Do correct me if i'm wrong because my model is 1996.

cheers,
mark

I don't know if I have a problem or not, it seemed a bit high rpm but maybe not. I thought that maybe the lock-up torque converter was not engaging.

At 60MPH my RPM is about 2300.

Thanks for the reply

I have an '02 elantra and yeah, i get between 2200-2300 at about that speed.

At those speeds, what you want is lower rpm for better mileage anyhow.
