Good luck, but my Azera rode well when new and after I got the replacement shocks, but deteriorated both times. Riding in a brand new 09 might not really tell how long the ride
will remain good. They also claimed 08's had a new suspension. Question is:
Are the new suspensions and shocks really better and will Hyundai place them on older Azeras?
:)
Only the 2008 models built 10/20/07 and later have the newest shocks,
part number 54611-3L640. Nothing else is different except the shocks.
The early 2008s still had the junky shocks that go South within the first
5K miles in the same manner as we are having all our problems with. :crying:
The 54611-3L640 are the latest parts, and there are no differences between
the late 2008 and all 2009 models other than the front and rear shocks.
The newest rear shocks parts bare the numbers 55311-3L640
From my limited contact with those who have these latest shocks, it seems as
if these latest shocks do in fact hold up well, unlike the older shocks save
those on the very earliest 2006 models built prior to Dec. 05, 2005.
People with the early 2006 models are evidently not experiencing any problems whatsoever. :puzzled:
:amen:
