The passenger side front and rear window regulator's have both failed on my 2000 Elantra. I've done the research and know that they tend to fail. My question is does anyone have a good source for replacement parts?

Also, in all the times I've been in and out of the door, the plastic "vapor" barrier is pretty torn up. Should I replace that? If so can I use plastic sheeting from someplace like Home Depot? And lastly can I replace the black goo glue they used on it? That stuff is REALLY messy. I was thinking of just replacing it with something like velcro.

Any thoughts or guidance would be great. Thanks!

Hyundai parts for Hyundai cars.
Yes replace the water barrier unless you like you door pockets full of water.
Use body caulk(comes in strips) to reglue the water barrier

Thanks for the advice! I've ordered the parts from my local Hyundai dealer.

Where do I get that body caulk? Sounds much easier to handle then some glue or something. Thanks!
