I have a 2002 Hyundai Atos. It is supposes to light up a "key" light as I turn the ignition to the ON position. If this does not light it won't start. It is supposed to protect against robbery (immobiliser). The problem is that it sometimes lights and sometimes not. I've had this problem for quite some time but after turning the key some times it finally lits. Lately I've had this problem but it won't light even after turning the key some dozens times. I have tried with the spare key also with the same results. If I go to the dealer I will get robbed, so I'm trying to find someone who has had the same problem and found a workaround. Is there any easy way of fixing it? Or can the immobiliser feature be disabled? Thanks for any help.
