Replacing my O2 sensors Bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1 with a generic 4 wire sensor, in the pic is the original one removed from the car 4 wires Yellow, white, gray and black. The other sensors have 2 white and a black and gray can these be matched up color for color or is there something missing here can anyone help thanks

My best guess would be one for one it. After all the battery on the car no matter what make or model is alaways black and red.

Dear dave,

You are missing the rest of your wiring and the coupler. It looks like you have the universal Bosch kit, missing the interface coupler. I will tell you that the Bosch universal fit oxygen sensors cost half the price of the OEM replacement fit, but you will get a Check Engine Light within one week if you install the universal fit on a Hyundai. Trust me, from the school of hard knocks.

Most Autozone counter attendants go into glazed eyes when you explain that the 2004 Santa Fe made after June has lathanum oxygen sensors, and not platinum.
