If you have jack stands and know how to turn a wrench you can save yourself $75 by doing it yourself.  THey don't joke when they say bolt-on.  Most trouble you'll have is prying off the rubber holders.

How many would I need? 4?
Also, would the car jack in the car be enough to jack it up or would I have to get a stronger jack? Cause I really would rather do it myself too... make it more rewarding/like a hands on project :D

The jack i the car will do, just jack it up on either corner and put the jack stands under it. You could do it with 2 on the rear but 4 all around makes it easier.

yeah man.. if its bolt on its really easy. If you can change your oil or add an intake you can do a bolt on exhaust. I've done it on 4 different cars. Its pretty straight forward. Hardest thing is getting it off the old holders (use dishsoap) and catching it when it falls.. oh and finding out what the **** to do with the factory pipe...

I spent $70 on my exhaust. Pipe and install. I will take a video of it later. Just a straight 2 1/2" pipe from the 2nd O2 sensor back. Sure it's a bit louder but it makes a world of difference. Next is the Manifold for engine mods. But the Rally stuff comes first. Lol.

The hangers are the spots along the exhaust with rubber grommets that your exhaust literally hangs from. When you take the old exhaust down, the EF one uses the same hangers for installation. You should deffinitley do this yourself. I don't know crap about exhaust, and this took 45 minutes to install (rusty bolts and all.) With an 08, you shouldn't have any rust issues to deal with yet.

Here's a link to give you guys a rough idea of what's involved. This is on an Elantra, but the same steps will be involved.

Here. Got you a soundclip from mine this afternoon too. These sound way louder from behind. Honestly, when i'm driving, the SRI and the catback are about equal in noise levels. Video from behind the car is quite deceiving.

Here's another clip from inside the car and out. This was inside with both front windows open fully.

I'll admit it is difficult to tell with that audio recording. It doesn't sound like it is though. It'd be nice if cheap microphones didn't cut out the bass so much, but they do.

Sorry thats the best I got. I assure you though, this system is far from ricey. Like I said, quite quiet and no drone at highway speeds. The most important factor for me was that there was none of that bakefire effect when you let off the accelerator.

Yeah, that's what I noticed with Komptek's video of his new exhaust. It made that fwap fwap fwap sound when he let up on the accelerator. Why is that?
