I installed HID's in my car, no fogs, but the headlights. Took me about 2 hours to install, just because you have to use a hole saw on the covers on the back of the lights, then put a grommet in then silicone it to seal it back up. My kit cost me $110 shipped from Hong Kong to Canada. Don't waste your money on name brands, you could buy 3 chinese kits for the price of one name brand.

Stay away from the slim kits, they are digital is the difference, and unreliable. Not as bright and don't last as long.

I installed the H4-2 bulbs, but, Highs are near useless after adjusting headlights, low's are twice as bright as factory halogen. If I were to do it again, I would just get a H4-1 kit (no hi) it's about 40 dollars cheaper, and it's all you'll ever need, I don't even use high on the highway.

It was dead easy to install, pull out your headlights, pull off the lid to your fusebox cover (you'll see two nuts with wires running under them, that's where I pulled my power from) Mount your ballast (I mounted mine inside the fenders, behind the headlight so they cannot be seen under the hood) then everything else is plug and play.

Fogs will be the same story, I'm sure.

not brighter but colorful. The Higher The Kelvin the Less (Lumens) usable light you have on the ground/road.

The most usable and whitest light output is 4350 Kelvins. its what OEM hid setups use. Anything above that will have less output and gradually change from bluish to purples at 10000 Kelvins and above.

Below 4350K, you can get the same light output, but the color will be orangish (a la incandescent) to yellow, and I have not see any HID kits below 3000K.

But if you retrofit, you will be able to get that blue color in the cutoff. :)

in some projectors you have to do the color mod in order to get that great color at the cut-off, not every projectors comes like that from manufacturer
