i think it will work nicely to prep little rock chip spots for touch up paint.

(IMG:http://www.agriemach.com/htmlarea/uploaded-images/PrepPen%20300%20dpi.jpg)

i pulled it out of the package & tried it out on the surface of the plastic of the packaging itself and when used in small circles it strips the glossy finish off the plastic nice and evenly and gives it a very fine roughed up finish that'd allow paint to stick well.

different from sand paper in the sense that it's 20,000+ glass fibers in a pen not unlike one of those white erasers in a plastic pen.

i'll post a review in 2-3 weeks after i get the paint and actually do the work in nice weather.

Cool! Where did you get the prep pen? Sounds better than me just taking a tiny piece of sandpaper to the affected area. :D
Haven't looked at mine for a while, I probably have some spots to touch up. Although my tips on the paint pen were dried up last time I checked, gotta do something about that!
