[B]hey ppl im doin a turbo conversion on my 99 1.5L Excel.
Iv looked around been everywhere and quotes are Ridiculous. like $5000 (have spent around $500 so far)(bargain shopper) . I was told u need custom this custom that. anyway i hav every thing except the turbo manifold apparently they need to be custom made and you hav to get them from the guy who made them. Silverwater auto. if they hav them in stock they are $780 but if they dont it costs around $1000 to hav one made.
Iv been doin my research and even went to hyundai to suss out another way. i was told that the scoupe turbo manifold should bolt on.
Brand new from hyundai they are $225. Thats alot better than $780. Iv Ordered the gasket before buying it just in case.
ill update this when i hav it and let u know how it goes. Could be handy :00000732:
