Can you post pictures of the back side of this radio? I don't think it will work with anything but an '08 since from what I saw on hmaservice it seems the connectors are entirely different. I really wanted one of these radios. :crying:

why would you guys want a factory crappy deck? You saw my build log look at the NICE deck I bought it's freaking awesome. Plays mp3's so you only need 1 disk for 100's of mp3's or you can hook up your Ipod.. WHY would you want a factory deck?

[1] Large display, large buttons, and ease of use with the factory double-DIN unit.

[2] They designed the radio to go complement the interior's design - no mismatched color of the face (i.e. my radio is dark gray to match the surrounding bezel and dash, an aftermarket would probably be black.) Plus no oddly colored displays or buttons, etc that will not match the existing dash lighting. A lot of aftermarket units tend to stick out like a sore thumb to me.

[3] People are more inclined to steal someone's fancy aftermarket radio whilst leaving my "crappy" OEM alone. :P

Sure, aftermarkets may sound better or have more to offer but if you're more concerned with aesthetics, you'll overlook that. I certainly do. :) I personally think the stock unit sounds pretty good, I just wish I had MP3 and aux in like the '08+ has since I'm always juggling CD's. :(

I have that deck in mine and really like it. I may replace the speakers and/or add an amp, but the deck is staying.

Thats the radio in my Accent and it does in fact play MP3's and WMA files. Should it die I'll go aftermarket, but I see no reason to replace it until then. Not to mention my car has the aux hook up for an MP3 player.

i agree with you guys...people tend not to touch factory radio's and i've been burned twice with aftermarket radios being stolen. I wish i could replace my 07 radio for the new one. i would give up my 6 cd changer for the XM, and MP3 Playback. I wont do anything until i breaks...then i'll get a new one.
