why would you guys want a factory crappy deck? You saw my build log look at the NICE deck I bought it's freaking awesome. Plays mp3's so you only need 1 disk for 100's of mp3's or you can hook up your Ipod.. WHY would you want a factory deck?

[1] Large display, large buttons, and ease of use with the factory double-DIN unit.
[2] They designed the radio to go complement the interior's design - no mismatched color of the face (i.e. my radio is dark gray to match the surrounding bezel and dash, an aftermarket would probably be black.) Plus no oddly colored displays or buttons, etc that will not match the existing dash lighting. A lot of aftermarket units tend to stick out like a sore thumb to me.
[3] People are more inclined to steal someone's fancy aftermarket radio whilst leaving my "crappy" OEM alone. :P
Sure, aftermarkets may sound better or have more to offer but if you're more concerned with aesthetics, you'll overlook that. I certainly do. :) I personally think the stock unit sounds pretty good, I just wish I had MP3 and aux in like the '08+ has since I'm always juggling CD's. :(
