Hi All, I am getting an "Error 4" whenever I put a cd in my player. I have a factory fitted standard Radio/CD player that comes with the '04 Elantra here in Australia. Can someone tell me what the error actually is? i.e servo, feeder etc.. or direct me to where I can fix it. any serious help is appreciated.

If you still have warranty, take it to a dealer. If not, your best bet is probably to just get a new player. You'll probably get a noticeable improvement in sound quality, even with stock speakers.

Thanks doohickie, fortunately I decided to check the AM radio reception issue first and removed the dash facia IAW the instruction on the "DIY" pages. After removing the radio fully and wrapping the foil around the support bracket, I replaced the audio unit, re entered the security code and "TaaDaa" the error had disappeared. Obviously removing the power to the unit has reset the offending part and now works well. The AM noise problem is 90% rectified also, just need to get the inline filter onto the arial cable to be able to listen to the football whilst driving now.
