Hi All,

I am installing the Audiovox ccs100 and cant find antying on the web for the location and color of the VSS. The AV ccs100 instructions doesnt list the 08 and says to use the magnet. I am thinking that the VSS should be the correct way to do this. Anyone that has installed this have any input ?? Thanks for the help in advance.

SailingSteve was the only one that I know of that put one of these on... Maybe try to get in touch with him? He mentioned something in a post of posting step by step instructions, but I don't know if he ever got around to doing it.

I actually just put a Rostra kit in my car, so I'm quite fresh on this. I just spliced it into the wire off the connector behind the fuse box cover. It was R/O if I remember correctly, pin 6 or something like that, top row never the less.

Is this interface called DIAGNOSIS near the battery?
Do you know the number of contact?

Liquid, any chance on a pic on showing where you placed the cruise and how you mounted the sheath for the cable? John, I spoke with Sailing Steve and got a couple of hints from him. I will post a pic on how he advised me to attach the cable to the throttle. My question is, the only place I can find to but the vacuum line has a sensor for the fuel tank. I am leary about putting it there, any other thoughts?
